Critical to the successful operation of the Akron Plant, we are searching for a passionate person to join our Plant Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Leader, the role will be full-time, exempt and physically located at our plant located in Akron, OH.Alterra Energy is an equal opportunity employer. Education and Experience:

Required:

1. Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in Chemical Engineering preferred; or a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, with process experience
2. Strong understanding of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and basic understanding of other relevant engineering fields
3. General knowledge of manufacturing plant operations and maintenance
4. A basic understanding of industry standards, specifications, codes, and regulations.
